Samlesbury War Memorial Hall is home to a wide variety of regular users who bring the building to life throughout the week. From fitness and hobby groups to community clubs and educational activities, these organisations play a vital role in creating a vibrant, welcoming hub for local residents. CRSDC meet twice a month for advanced and challenge level dancing. Anyone interested in where to learning basic levels and then join us in the future for more advanced level dancing please contact our Chairmen, Brian Holman E: OR our secretary, Val Pemberton E:  

 7:30 pm on the Third Monday of each month from September to May.

We are a vibrant and friendly community, enthusiastic about gardening with
hardy herbaceous plants. We have a series of talks and garden visits throughout
the year, to which members, prospective members and visitors – of all ages and
levels of experience – are always welcome.

Meetings take place on the first Wednesday of each month at 7.30pm when the charity discusses current projects and issues.

We are the Northern Group of the City of London Phonograph & Gramophone Society holding regular meetings to listen to historical recordings, along side talks on recording artists, record companies and music genres – e.g. jazz, dance bands, opera and music hall and sessions for members to bring along records and machines to play.

If you enjoy vintage sounds you might like to join us for an afternoon of listening to vintage records played on vintage machines. We’re a friendly group and look forward to welcoming new members! 

Meetings on Sunday afternoons 1:30 to 5pm ish in January, March, May, June, July, September and November.

For people aged between 10 and 26, Young Farmers offers a chance to meet new people, learn new skills and take part in competitions with like minded friends.
We meet every week 8pm on Monday evening in the Main Hall

8pm every Thursday evening for salsa classes for beginners and improvers. Learn to salsa dance in a fun friendly environment with experienced teachers. No need to book just show up with a smile and we will do the rest.

‘Glue and brew!’ A social group for those who enjoy making plastic models (Airfix type). We meet on the last Wednesday of each month between 10 am and 2 pm and on the second Tuesday between 7:30 pm and 10:00 pm.
