Welcome to Samlesbury War Memorial Hall
|
|
Samlesbury War Memorial Hall is a non–profit making organisation and a registered charity. It is situated close to Blackburn and Preston and is just 2 miles from junction 31 on the M6.
The Memorial Hall offers excellent facilities and ample off road parking and is available for hire for functions, parties, meetings and get–togethers 7 days a week.

During the year we hold varied and exciting events including Farmers Markets on the 2nd Saturday of the month 9am - 1pm, social events & fund raising events and in January 2010 we launch a brand new Food Club. Please see Calendar for details of forthcoming events
We are also the venue for local groups
 and societies
- Ballroom & Modern Dancing classes Most Monday
- Young Farmers Monday evenings 8pm
- Hardy Plants Society 3rd Monday of the month 7.30pm
- NFU Ladies Social Section (Lady Farmers) Wednesday evenings
- Square dancing group, some Sunday afternoons & occasional Saturday evenings
- Various bands also practice in the hall
We invite new ideas for events at the hall and are always willing to try something new.
